Things have been pretty soggy down here lately.
And getting to work has been a challenge....
A ton of rain over the weekend, lots of localized flooding, lots flooded cars and there's more rain on the way next week. It's not the apocalypse that has been presented on the national news, but it has been a real mess. We've avoided some of the flooding although over at SIL's house, things got a bit dicey for a while.

Whatta mess! I feel (a little of) your pain. I'm glad it's not the apocalypse the media makes it seem - really? they would do that? - but it still looks pretty bad.
So what'd you do over the weekend? Time travel?

Why do you cause such a commotion everywhere you go? I haven't been here in a while and I apologize, but you just seem to be a harbinger of bad luck. Okay. I'm joking, but I'm glad I landed here today. Hope you don't grow gills.

This spring has made me feel really grateful for the weather we have here up north. I know I do my fair share of complaining about the cold, but we're relatively safe from tornadoes, earthquakes, and flooding!
