The old folks got hitched back in 1945. A young couple starting out in life right after the war. He a former B17 pilot getting his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her a young woman working for the government. Long time couple from high school. Both were in the band (Its just like this one time at band camp?). He joined the Army Air corps. She followed him out to Arizona while in training. Starting out young and in love, with a endless future in front of them. 65 years later, 3 sons, 3 daughter-in-laws, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughter-in-laws, 1 great grand-daugher. Life's been pretty interesting for them.
They joined the Airstream club about the time I graduated from college and have been highly active in it for decades. Even now, they are off for the summer at a rally in Wyoming. That's pretty much been their pattern for years and (head north during the summer) and, given the fact the temps are in the mid 90s down here for a while, I wish I could head north for the summer as well.
Happy Anniversary from your yougest child down in Texas!

Happy Anniversary and congratulations to your parents! I always find it amazing when a friendship and love endures the test of time the way theirs has.
