Spring has sprung down here. The oak out back is shedding all its leaves and fuzzy pollen leaving my patio furniture covered up. Flowers are coming up all over, need to put out some fertilizer, remulch the beds, plant new flowers.
Was trimming up the photinia out back two weeks ago when I noted a few "transients" had set up house in the bushes.
Went back out this weekend to check on their progress. Seems like we have a family moved in behind us.
Mom! What's for dinner?
Of course, the dogs were just enjoying some time in the sun.

Yeah, spring finally seems to have arrived here too! The birds are picking the bird table clean - I guess they feel the need to have babies but there is very little out there for them to eat at the moment.
Nice shot of the dogs too!
OH very springy indeed! Ours is trying. We don't have any baby birds in the backyard yet, but the tree pollen is causing many the sneeze parties.
Nice photos! Those little chicks with their mouths all open are causing my mom instincts to kick in. I feel a need to regurgitate something.
I've been listening to the sounds of spring all morning! Such a great time of year!
Love the pic of the baby birds. We'll be seeing some soon too. As long as the black birds don't get to them first. :(
Have your dogs begun shedding? I'm finding it impossible to keep up with Chancie's hair!
Are you kidding me? They never stopped shedding. I've gotten enough hair off of them to make a throw rug. You don't own a Golden unless you love picking up fur all the time.
Nothing says a mom's love like some regurgitated lunch.
That's true! They never STOP shedding, but lately, the amount of fur that has come off of her is ridiculous! Just lets me know that summer is really close! :)
Yep. Those little birdies will be out flying around and pooping on my new car by summer. Dogs were enjoying time out of doors.
Awwwww. Those baby birdies are soooo cute!!
Happy Spring!!
Awww, you've got some spring babies! Congratulations!
Spring is teasing us here. There's a snowstorm in the forecast for tomorrow night and Thursday. :-(
Every year, our birds would build their nest in the wreath on the door, so we'd spend the next month nearly climbing out a window to give them peace.
Your yard reminds me of what I miss most: real grass that doesn't cut your feet, and a FENCE! How I miss my cedar fence.
